While doing your cookouts, shopping, or in my case, working and plotting ways to bring about the end of BluMunkee, keep in mind the reason behind this holiday: those men and women in uniform that keep our country safe. Despite what you may think about this war and the government in general, these men and women deserve our utmost appreciation and gratitude.
