National exposure

Lino dropped the link to this blog on the show, and read part of the newspaper displayed on Linofans.com

Great job to us! Yes, the sin of pride just creeped into this post.

I remember when I first started LinoFans.com a year ago. I'd freak out every time Lino mentioned the site on the air. Even if he only talked about it for only 30 seconds or so, I'd listen to it OVER AND OVER on my stiletto. :-)

  2. I have no stiletto. Will have to wait for the replay.

Gluttony just crept in as well.

Oh hey... and speaking of pride, would it be arrogant to brag/tease Dustin about the fact that everyone ELSE who writes for this blog has

    1) Met Lino
    2) Been in the studio with the crew?

Don't worry, Dustin! Experience has shown us that if you stalk Lino long enough, you'll get to meet him! Although after Doug and I appeared on the show they decided that maybe listers don't make the best guests. :-)

Dustin, a stilletto is a double edges sword. It is nice that you are able to record the whole show. But then you feel like you should listen to the whole show. 15 hours a week. That is like a second job. That said, my stilletto is my most prized possesion. And yes, I too, have lacked humility when mentioned on the air. I have listened to it over and over. Played it for my wife, my daugheter, my son, my other daughter, the two youngest who don't understand but I just wanted to listen to it again, my wife who reminds me she already heard it!!!!!!........yeah, I've got insecutity issues.

  5. My voice sounds so terrible over the air that It's probably a good thing I don't get invited to the studio. It has the pleasantness of a fart during Mass.

Sad thing is, I don't need the stilleto to listen to all 15 hours...I'm working at my desk for all three hours of the show, save Tuesday and Wednesdays, so it's either listen to Lino, or one of our reporters griping about covering a Quorum court meeting.

Not to rub it in, but it is humbling for me to think that I actually did get to meet the crew. (A credit to a persistant wife, a kind hearted Maureen, and a willing but against his better judement Lino.) But Dustin should get props for finding another way to give Lino and Lou encouragement. My blog views have increased exponentially since he started this. And props, to you Dan, you have never let your pride interfere with other Lino fans enthusiasm. We don't need a schism among TCG fan base.

  7. I could start a rift. MY FIRST NAME IS SPELLED WITH A LOWERCASE d!!!!! LOL but that would be petty (although it is spelled that way :-P

    STOP PULLING YOUR SISTERS HAIR!!!

There. It's all out in the open ;)

But thanks to the three of you for making this blog rock (and the people who read it, all 2.9 of you)
