I'm sure the Catholic Channel bosses were thrilled during Monday's show when Lino announced the new Notre Dame contest - and then immediately went to the chat room here and read that one of the fans said they'd burn the tickets if they won them.

Lino Rulli has the best fans in the world!

    When you hate Notre Dame, those statements are right on :)

    Alas, my love for the Michigan Wolverines prohibits me from cheering for such scum. But don't worry, I cheer for the Jesuit school Boston College, so I'm not anti-catholic in my hatred :)

    i hate the fact that Notre Dame can buy its way to a Bowl Game.

    Even with last year's record, I was not sure that they wouldn't go to some Cheetos-Pringles-FunYuns-Charity Bowl.

    I wish the Catholic Channel would stick to religion rather than sports. There are plenty of sports media options on radio, television and the internet...do we really need the Catholic Channel broadcasting every Notre Dame game?

    I'd get much more excited about a contest where the prize is a trip to the Vatican, or even NYC. Football I can live without.
