For those of you who heard the show today, Lou read a news story about a monster in Japan named Akaname, the filthlicker. Since the monster made Lino wildly uncomfortable (to the point of charging $1 for every mention of the monster), we thought it appropriate to put a picture of the monster here on Lino's fan club webite!

Per Wikipedia, "An akaname (垢嘗? lit. "mud licker") is a yōkai that looks like a frog-like human with wild hair, a long tongue and feet that end in a single clawed toe. It can be found in bathrooms by toilets and bathtubs. It usually enters at night when no one is around to bother it and uses its tongue to lick the bathroom surfaces clean. Despite its grotesque appearance, an akaname does not pose any threat."

Why Lino thought filthlicker was disturbing, yet played Vanilla Ice on the show is beyond me. We should fine people infinite amounts of money for Vanilla Ice references.
