NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! :)
Can the return of Tom be far behind??? Also, I would like to know more about the judge story at the bottom of the paper.
Eric in Alexis
Eric, Tom lives in Washington State and just bought a house. He left TCGS to sell computer software.
I for one am thrilled with Maureen's return. The show hasn't been the same since she left, which I think Lino realized. This is the best move he could have made.
Two things I love about the mock newspaper:
1) Your implication that Maureen was responsible for the demise of the NPR show.
2) The unprovoked jab at Lino at the end.
Hey, that's responsible journalism at its best :-D
What can I say? Maureen's return is a shock and yet a welcome return.
I dare say Maureen represents so many Catholics who have no clue even after 12 years of Catholic School training what the Church teaches or it's history.
I hope when priest's listen to the shows they see and recognize this and take it to the pulpit with knowledge that as shepherds it is their responsibility to educate the sheep in the teachings of Holy Mother Church.
I would suggest a segment for Lino to go over sections of the Catholic Catholicism with Maureen in some way maybe a game segment where listeners call in to show what they know (or don't) about the teachings of the Church and Maureen answering the same questions. Or how about changing the "Who's more Catholic" segment into a question/answer segment on the Catholicism with all, Fr Jim, Maureen, Lino and Lou attempting to answer 5 questions from the book.
