Lino opened Monday’s show by reading two emails from listeners who said that The Catholic Guy Show has gone downhill (or “jumped the shark” as the kids might say) because of Producer Maureen’s departure.

The first email, which Lino said didn’t include any smiley faces or any indication that it was a joke, chastised Lino for not being a good enough Christian and not evangelizing Maureen well enough. The email ended on an encouraging note: "So sorry about the loss of your show.”

Those of you who have been listening from day one remember that, in the early days, Lino was the only on-air personality. And guess what? The show was still good. In fact, it was easily the most entertaining radio show in Catholic media, despite Lino flying solo on the air and being a relative radio novice.

There’s only one Catholic Guy crew member who would ruin the show by leaving: Lino. As long as The Catholic Guy is there, the show will be just fine.
