Heard from Maureen tonight

I emailed Maureen tonight to offer my condolences for her losing her job over at National Pinko Radio:


Sorry to hear about the NPR job, Mo.

[PLACE CORNY CHRISTIAN CLICHE INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE HERE].

Your next employers will be very lucky to have you, though. :-)


She wrote back about ten minutes later. (She obviously sits at her computer waiting with baited breath for me to email her.) Her email was very similar to the one Lino read on the air. We should all keep Maureen in our prayers, of course, but she doesn’t seem to be too broken up about the situation.

By the way, Maureen said she still reads LinoFans.com, so everyone be on your best behavior.

    BTW, Myspace says that Maureen hasn't logged into her account since June 2, so she may not be using it anymore.
