CatholicGuyShow.com's own Father Jim Chern will be on the air with Lino during Thursday's Catholic Guy Show. Father Jim, listener turned "friend of the show" turned "monthly visitor" (hmm...) turned "appendix" has now become a very frequent guest on the show.
Without sounding like I have a weird man-crush on him, I'd like to say, the more Father Jim, the better!
By the way, I've always thought it would be fun if Lino and Father Jim did a Catholic version of the radio show "Loveline" (without, of course, giving advice to 14 year-old girls on what type of birth control works the best).

When Dan brought this up in the chat room and first compared Lino to Adam Corrola, something clicked. The more I think of it, the Catholic Guy Show seems to be awfully derivative of the Man Show.
Consider:

* Jimmy Kimmel = Lou Ruggieri
* Man Show Boy = Ryan Stewart
* Wheel of Destiny = Wheel of News
* Girls jumping on trampolines = Father Dave Dwyer plugging his show

I wholeheartedly agree -- the more Fr. Jim the better!
Actually, Fr. Jim, Lou and Ryan could easily do the show when Lino is on vacation...which he seems to be an AWFUL lot...(yes I am jealous).
