That headline sounds like a bad Lifetime movie, doesn't it?
In listening to Lino trying to decide what to do about his contract, and what God wants him to do, the following prayer is from the Archbishop of Newark (who happens to be my "ordinary" - aka, my boss) Archbishop John Joseph Myers. He has a prayer card that he gives to men and women as they try to discern what God wants them to do:
Lord help me to want to be what you want me to be...
Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and following her example each of us must ever learn afresh to say: Fiat -- Be it done unto me according to your word.
My prayer for Lino is that he is able to do just that.
