Will Sirius kill The Catholic Channel and EWTN after the merger?

There's a discussion over at the Unofficial Lino Rulli Myspace group about how the Sirius/XM merger will effect the availability and The Catholic Channel and EWTN on Sirius. Feel free to throw your two cents in.

But if Lino ends up telling us he's gonna bail on Friday, I say, to hell with satellite radio... :-(

    considering it was Mel Karmazin's (the CEO of Sirius-XM)idea in the first place to creat the Catholic Channel - the good press from the NY Times and with the Pope's "radio endorsement", if I were a betting man, I'd say The Catholic Channel is safe

    Also, with SiriusXM's commitment to minority programming (12 channels), I doubt they would throw TCC or EWTN out.
