The Catholic Guy Show needs some spiritual direction

I really think Lino should consider getting a spiritual director for the Catholic Guy Show. He said recently on the air that his show is a type of ministry, and any good Catholic ministry should have a priest or some other religious type helping out and giving advice. It wouldn’t be someone that would censor the show or tell Lino how to do radio, but someone who is supportive of The Catholic Guy Show and also wants to make sure it stays on the right track. I think someone like Fr. Jim would be perfect for the role.

Any ministry, no matter how good its intentions, can go in the wrong direction if the person in charge doesn’t have any accountability to someone else or refuses to accept spiritual direction and discernment.

I don’t mean to sound like an alarmist, but don’t think for a second that a show like Lino’s, which has led many people back to the faith and the sacraments, isn’t a prime target for the bad guy from down in you-know-where (and, no, I’m not talking about Australia).
