Fellow Lino Lovers,
I am bringing you a post from another listeners of TCC and TCGS. I thought it was really cool and totally worth sharing. After all, what good is an Ambassador if she doesn't share the word.
And Now, Ambassador Allicia Presents:
On Satelite Radio... The Catholic Channel... by Marcos
There is a channel I listen to...
This channel is unlike any other...
The motto is “not what you expected”...
It fits it well...
No day passes...
That I do not listen to it...
My day starts out as such...
In the morning...
There is a man...
Who does works of charity...
Has kinds words to say...
Explains him self with clarity...
The perfect way to start your day...
At times fills you with laughter....
At times makes you sad...
Crazy like the Mad Hatter...
But never makes you mad...
His “60 Second Reflection” is swell...
At times, many I might add, has ankle injury...
His listeners always wish him well...
But he is never in Emergency...
We next come to the following show...
In this show is a married couple...
They have been married for many many years...
and have the kids to prove it...
5 kids will bring many tears...
From joy or sadness, do they even have time to sit???
The love they have for each other...
Is only surpassed by their love of the Lord...
Even if at times it seems like they each want to smother...
the other person, I know they will never be bored...
She was a convert...
He had had his doubts...
However their faith never did they desert...
Even when they had their bouts...
Next comes another man...
A newspaper columnist if memory serves...
Political topics of which I’m not a big fan...
But the faith he doth preserves...
Tells the news from a faith based angle...
Yet keeps a sense of humor about...
Political web of lies he does untangle...
Is very passionate without a doubt...
Then comes one of my favorite shows...
TCGS with Lino Rulli...
Here is a guy that that can make you crack up...
From his nose, to his singleness, to his sad sad life...
Sometimes I wonder why he doesn’t do stand up...
Or if he will ever find a wife...
He is a 38 single Italian white male...
With a bad back, big nose and maybe even a little blind...
All excuses for his love life FAIL...
I think he is even loosing his mind...
But he is not all is a total loss...
He has brought many back to the faith...
Even if he doesn’t floss...
And sometimes resembles a wraith...
O.k. o.k. I’m done making fun...
Even though he does it all the time...
And his whistling might make your dog run...
I’m even driven to drink, a tequila with lime...
I kid, I kid, its all fun and games...
His theology is all good and well...
He is entitled to his Emmy Award claims...
I am convinced its not just a shell...
Then comes my OTHER favorite of the list...
Busted Halo is the name...
Fr. Dave is the host, who’s laugh no one can resist...
Robyn is the dame...
Pseudo goes by many names...
Many jobs in fact...
Fr. Dave he tames...
I’m still surprised he hasn’t been sacked...
He answers phones and is ambassador to the people...
Covers others when they are out...
Makes jokes such as “here is the church here is the steeple...”
But his love of the people never waivers, without a doubt...
Robyn is the Jewish producer...
Music lover by choice...
Some may even call her a seducer...
That is until they hear her singing voice...
Her passion for music rivals even mine...
She can find a lyric from any spoken phrase...
In concerts she has her own private line...
Even has a very nice smile and a soft gaze...
She has a beautiful heart and soul...
Even if for Christmas all she gets is coal...
Fr. Dave is the host extraordinaire...
Making Catholicism fresh and new...
His humility is debonair...
He really is “amazing” like very few...
From his laugh to his homily...
He is truly an anomaly...
Then there is also Brian...
Who’s voice is thunderous rampage...
He is built like a lion...
Yet still refuses to have a Facebook page...
I leave, I go...
I finish this one now...
there is more to know...
So just ask and I will tell you how...
With these parting words I leave thee...
Just listen and you will jump up in glee...
